Brian Coyle
I am currently a Principal Researcher at Fujitsu Research of Europe and a Senior Researcher at the University of Edinburgh. Previously, I was a Staff Scientist at QCWare a quantum software company, based in the Paris office.
Between 2021 and 2022, I completed a 1 year postdoctoral research fellowship in the London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) at University College London. I received my PhD in the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Pervasive Parallelism at the University of Edinburgh, researching quantum computing with a focus on quantum machine learning and applications for near-term intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices.
During my PhD, I completed an internship at Phasecraft, and was a part-time quantum machine learning research scientist at Cambridge Quantum (now Quantinuum).
